First class hiking on the Feldbergsteig
A first class hiking path goes around the tallest mountain of the German Mittelgebirge. The Feldberg offers a mixture of lovely low range mountain scenery including subalpine elements. This is an advantage of the first class hiking path Feldbergsteig. There are few other hiking paths in this region that offer such a variety of unique landscape impressions. While descending from the Feldbergerhof (1) to the Feldsee (2) one is already eager with anticipation which turns into pure happiness when reaching the bottom. The circular Karsee surrounded by high mountain walls tempts you to sit down and look. And this is just the beginning! Passing the Raimartihof which is well tended and the Baldenweger hut (3) the Feldberg-Steig goes around the Baldenweger Buck up to the Zastler hut 4. Then the Feldbergsteig soars up to the roof of the Black Forest (5) – leaving behind the rustic St. Wilhelmer hut. If the weather plays along, there will be an extensive view on the Alps from the Zugspitze via the Eiger to the Mont Blanc. You will happily walk across to the Seebuck 6 down to observation point (1).
