Circular route to the "Eagle Aerie" and the HaldenseeThe „Eagle Aerie“ is the flagship of the Tannheimer Tal. On a unique rock terrace more than 200 altitude meters above the sparkling Haldensee-lake below you will experience a remarkable view while enjoying self-smoked home-cooking: the Rote Flueh, the Krinnenspitze, the Neunerkoepfle and far across the valley floor of the Tannheimer Tal. Starting from Grän (1) you can kick off a very easy hike on a circular route which also includes a bath in the summery Haldensee. If you are hiking in the winter you should take a sleigh or rent one at the Eagle Aerie (2). You can then boost your adrenaline when riding one of the region’s longest toboggan-runs to Haller (3) at the lakeside. Your way back starts with a stroll through the meadows at the reed covered eastern shores all the way to the south shore
