Three-hut-tour above the Haldensee including interlude on the mountain topHigh above the crystal clear shimmering Haldensee in between Graen and Nesselwaengle three idyllic Alps nestle against the steep slope of the Krinnenspitze: Krinnenalpe (2), Nesselwaengler Edenalpe (3) and Graener Oedenalpe (4). The land on each of them is being cultivated thus offering hikers to enjoy nature as well as food. Savoury Alpine cheeses, hearty bacon or tasty home-made sausages can be enjoyed on this tour as well as coffee and home-made pies. You could almost forget about the hiking if not for the most impressive, ever expanding panorama of the Tannheimer Felsberge opposite of you. To make you go on there is the distant view onto the Lechtaler Alps, the Silvretta and the icy mountains of the Oetztal Alps as well. The route is quite easy to find. The pleasant Alpenrosenweg-path links the three Alps mentioned above. TIPP: If you want to climb to the top of a mountain you will have to hike from the upper station of the Krinnenlift-chair lift (1) via the Gamsbocksteig which is secured for a short way right at the top to the Krinnenspitze (5) and then walk from the mountain top down to the Graener Oedenalpe. Very brave hikers descend through the Strindental-valley (6) to the Haldensee to reward themselves with a refreshing swim.
