1. Collecting chestnuts

A perfect game for the fall and quite simple too: whoever collects the most chestnuts within half an hour is the winner. To make the game more interesting one can do this:

• Back home little figurines will be created using the chestnuts as well as toothpicks 

• Chestnuts are used as a currency to be traded for things, for example one chestnut in exchange for an apple, three chestnuts in exchange for a pack of crayons and so on.

This game can also be played collecting other things, for example beech nuts or pine cones.
