2. GPS-treasure hunt

A new trend from the U.S.: knowing geographic coordinates only and using a GPS-device one tries to find a treasure (usually consisting of small presents like crayons, CDs etc. and a log book). Right now there are ‘treasures’ almost everywhere in the world, the chance to find a GPS-treasure close to where one is staying is therefore quite big. Check www.geocaching.com for more details. Often tourist information associations have more information on GPS-routes in the region they are representing.
