8. Wort-und Assoziationsspiele


Of course the ‘classic’ games known from children’s birthday parties and long drives are suitable for long hikes, too. A few examples:

  • I spy something with my little eye, something beginning with …
  • Word chain (compound words): One player starts with a compound word, for example ‘tea bag’. The following players now have to form new compound words starting with the last part of the previous compound word. (i.e. tea bag, bag lady, lady bird…)
  • Word chain (simple): Same as above but the following words only have to start with the last letter of the previous word, i.e. word, donut, tiger, roof …
Guessing animals. Every player thinks of an animal that the others must guess. They are only allowed to ask yes/no-questions.
